I ordered a breakfast sandwich this morning and took it to work only to notice I had been given the incorrect sandwich. I returned on my coffee break to explain the error and receive a new one and was told I couldn't be compensated, even though it was the barista's error. After talking for 2 minutes about it and being denied a new sandwich the customer behind me offered to pay for a new sandwich. All the customers in line and sitting down looked disappointed and embarrassed. I've never felt so disrespected and unimportant. This is one of my worst customer service experiences of my life. I will continue going to Starbucks where I feel valued.
