  This is the less busy park next to Boyce-Gyro (3 blocks away). Not as many amenities but parking is easier and generally less kids running around. We went right after the flood so the actual beach was closed and full of sandbags but the park was still beautiful and great for tossing a frisbee around. There were plenty of sunbathers

  So much to see! Kite sailing, nice sandy beach, grassy areas too and tables and benches, large shady trees and open sun-bathing spots. Good bathrooms on grounds.

  Our family-favourite beach! We love this beach, there is a nice playground, a really cool old tree that is right at the waters edge and all the kids love, grass to sit on, covered tables, close restrooms. Everything a family with young kids needs. The sunset from this location is unreal and it is a very short walk to get to the Manteo/ ElDorado docks. We love to walk along the docks and people watch along the way:) Sometimes the weeds can be a little bit gross, I've heard they are trying to fix that for this summer. The sidewalk by the street connects all the way to the next beach over, Gyro beach. This is a fun little walk if you want to explore the nearby beaches. Parking is sparse in the lot but there is some parking across the road and between the two options you can usually you can find a spot. Grocery stores and restaurants not too far away as well.
