  I have been here a few times before and had pleasant experiences only once. I am a very patient person and very understanding to situations but as a business there should be no excuses. When the younger employees are there things seem to run smoothly enough. However, leaving your biggest customer interactions to someone who is unable to communicate properly is just poor management. Customer experience should be top priority and when you aren't understood when speaking about a product that is served it just makes the whole place seem very uncaring towards theit customers. The food itself is good when you eat in during the busy times. Come during the slower times and you'll find yourself often ignored and forgotten. As for take out, I wouldn't suggest it at all. The service is spotty, and often times they will say delivery is available and then call back and say you have to pick it up. Or delivery isn't available at all during times it is advertised as available. If you're going to advertise delivery, you should staff your business accordingly. As for the food in take out, whether it's delivered or picked up has always been far below par. It's often overdone and is as if it has been sitting for a long time. Better hope if you're picking up thst there isn't more than one order or you may end up waiting even longer while they try to FIND your food. Over all, even as a patient and understanding person, it's just far too careless for me to go back after a few different visits. If you're going to try this place, eat in and during busy times only. Otherwise you're the least important person to this restaurant.

  This is a small restaurant with big flavours. We were very pleased with all of the dishes we tried; much better then the other Chinese food restaurants in town. The sauces seemed to be house made and the food was all fresh and tasty. We will definitely be eating here again. Prices were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food did take a little longer to come out then we expected, but good things take time.

  Yumi bistro has the best Asian food in kelowna. They are a family restaurant, which is nice to see. When going to the restaurant after ordering, they are good at getting your food to you in great time. Very friendly and simply great food.
